MusiCares Supported by Grateful Dead
The Grateful Dead has chosen MusiCares as their designated charity to receive 5% donation from all Grateful Dead Merchandise proceeds from Zionrootswear.com. MusiCares offers aid to musicians whom have fallen on hard times.
MusiCares provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need. MusiCares' services and resources cover a wide range of financial, medical and personal emergencies. Each case is treated in a manner which respects the recipient with complete confidentiality. MusiCares also focuses on human service issues that directly impact the health and welfare of the music community in general.
